In our recent workshop, Custom Branding Colors, I walked customers through how to customize the branding of their FTP Today Web App. Here at FTP Today, we understand how important it is to brand the software you use for your company. Color "schemes" and "themes" were inflexible and are a thing of the past, Customizing your file sharing web app is now significantly improved.
Attendees of the workshop learned the four steps to customize the branding of their web app.
1. Upload Your Company Logo
This is probably the most requested capability when it comes to branding your web app -- adding your own company logo. In the branding section of the settings, you’ll be able to simply upload your logo file so it appears both on the login screen as well as within the app. We recommend using a logo with a transparent background.
2. Add Custom Text to Your Login Screen
Beneath the username and password fields on the login screen, there is extra space where you can enter plain text or HTML to include a customized message to your users. Feature a privacy policy or a message about company news. You have complete control on what to say to your users.

3. Use a Color Picker to Match Your Company Colors
I walk you through how to use a color picker (from Microsoft Paint, for example) and select the exact colors from your company logo. This will enable you to see the RGB code of the colors so you won’t have to guess at which blue is the right blue hue.
4. Customize the Colors Within the Web App
In the branding section of the settings, you can change the colors for the main accent color, the title bar and the menu bars. Utilize the colors you pulled from your logo and enter in the RGB codes to alter these colors, making the design of the app branded to your company.
